In 2000 Sarah, Gracie, Angel, Faith, and Hannah began thinking of forming a
children’s group together and thus The Lady Bugs began. After two years of
planning, gathering material from song writers, and perfecting the show, The
Lady Bugs officially began performing in October of 2002. The girls have
performed together at numerous events, including Fairs, Radio Stations,
Festivals, Malls, Children’s Museums, and Amusement Parks.
The Lady Bugs know that children enjoy and appreciate music, also that
children are precious gifts and that childhood is a time to be cherished and
nurtured. Growing up in a large family, going through and overcoming many
obstacles in their life, including loosing their home to Hurricane Katrina,
has instilled in The Lady Bugs a great appreciation for children, their
imaginations and their desire to imitate those they look up to.
In 2007 The Lady Bugs had the fantastic opportunity to accomplish their goal
of adding a live Band to their show, and it is already achieving great
success.
The Lady Bugs offer a unique interactive musical experience that brings
vitality, creditability, and passion to the “Kiddie Rock” world. The Lady
Bugs know how important it is to bring positive live interactive music to
their venues, not only as a way to bring families together, but live music
also has the power to bring communities together to foster respect,
inclusiveness, and understanding with each other and the world in which we
live.
The Lady Bugs have built a broad base of fans, venues, and audiences in the
five years we have been performing. The Lady Bugs already have a built in
market and a fantastic reputation with 95% of the venues rebooking year
after year.
Never before has there been a Children’s music group like The Lady Bugs who
has been able to find a perfect modern blend of rock’n roll that is positive
and wholesome with a wide range of universal appeal. Being five young
sisters (ages 12, 14, 17, 20, and 26) gives The Lady Bugs the advantage of
being able to relate to their audience.
The Lady Bugs inspire awareness to the common good in each other, and the
responsibility to care for your neighbor and the world we live in. While at
the same time being highly entertaining with fantastic music.
